Mumbai, February 03: A benchmark index for Indian equities markets Thursday was ruling weak in early trade.The 30-scrip sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 18,113.73 points, was ruling at 18,121.68 points, up 31.06 points or 0.17 percent from its previous close at 18,090.62 points.
The 50-scrip S&P CNX Nifty of the National Stock Exchange too was in a slump, trading 0.06 percent up at 5,435.4 points.
Broader markets were ruling flat too.
